Adam Sparks and Shelley Mowinkel from Milford Public Schools set up a video blog (vlog) challenge last year to help their teachers learn more about educational technology. When I saw their poster session at the NETA conference, it looked like so much fun I asked if I could join in. Happily, they agreed! Generally speaking, if I create a document in Google Drive, I keep it there. However, there are times where I do want to generate a PDF copy of the document to share with someone else or to publish in a different manner.
Fortunately, it is a very simple process to download a Google Document (or spreadsheet or presentation) as a PDF.
1. Open your document (or spreadsheet or presentation)
2. Click File -> Download as -> PDF
3. Choose your destination and click save
