Can you block YouTube for my child?
Technically, yes, we can block YouTube for your child, but the same policy will apply to all students in the district. We are not planning to place individual restrictions on student accounts.
What happens if another student damages my child's device?
The district will work with students, parents, and administration to determine who is responsible for repairs to a damaged Chromebook. We appreciate everyone's cooperation and patience when these issues arise.
I don't want my child to bring his or her Chromebook home. What options are available for storage at school?
To help ensure that all students have the same access to technology across the district, we encourage all students to take the devices home at the end of the school day. If circumstances dictate that it would be wiser or more beneficial for a student to leave a Chromebook at school, arrangements should be made with the building principal.
